1. She is clueless because she thinks that once Abuleta comes she'll be rich again. Also she thougth it has rude for the litle girl to grab her hand. ALso on the train she pulled her doll away for the little girl wehn she went over to her.

1. She thinks that the first house that they went in was somone elses not there's because it was not the well looking. Also she told Isabel that she would not stay long and that her dad would never make her sleep there. So she still thinks that she is rich and she thought she would go to school and not work but she is working. In her mind she is still rich.

1. one way that she finds out that she is not living reality is that that she had to do chores but she didn't know how. Also, she said that it was only temperary. Also, she didn't like her cabin. Also her mom's wise saying we can live thgether and be happy or we can live together and be sad.

1. Esperanza is still ‘clueless’ because on page 105, Esperanza told Isabel that she was only staying at the camp temporarily, but she is wrong. She’s probably going to stay there the rest of her life.

Examples of how Esperanza is "clueless" and still not living in reality are
1. Esperanza thinks that she and her mama get their own cabin, when only a man with his family can live in one cabin.
2.She thinks she is still rich. She thinks when Abulita comes with their money, they're going to buy a new house and live their old lives again.
3.She doesn't know how to change diapers and sweep with a broom. She thinks you dip the diapers in water and you're done. She also thinks you just make the broom go side to side to sweep.

she is "clueless" when she says to Isabel that she will be richer than she was in Mexico and she will a have a house that is way bigger than the one she used to have. Esparanza and her family are poor and will probably stay like that6 even in the united states.

Another example is when she says the same thing to mama back in mexico.

One example is when she has to wash the clothes and she doesn't know how to. Also when she has to sweep the deck, and she doesn't know how to sweep. Also when she tells the girl(of whose name i don't know) that she is still rich and living there is temporary.

1. Some examples are that in the chapter she told Isabel that living there at the camp was temporary because abuelita would build a new house in America. Also she thinks that they shouldn't be wearing the cloths they were wearing.

Sh says that she is still rich and that her being in that camp is a temporary thing and that she will get her own home as soon as Abuelita comes back. She also asks her mom if they really all have to sleep in one room.

1. The frist example is that she said that when her grandmother comes the will all be rich again.
The other thing is that when she was on the train she could not belive the condistion and why her mama was saying sorry to the pesnts. The other thing is that she did not belive the condistion of the place they are living in now. She calles them house stall.

1} Some examples of how Esperanza is still not living in reality is she had no idea how to change a diaper. She also didn't know how to sweep the front porch and then all of the mothers on the street were laughing at Esperanza. Esperanza also didn't know how to do the landry. With all of these things in mind Isabel was getting concerned because Esperanza was going to be doing all of these chores for as long as she was going to live there. With Esperanza not knowing how to do any of this Isabel had to teach Esperanza.

On P.105 Esperanza says to Isabel that living at the camp will only be temporaty for her family and that she will be moving into a big house when Abuelita comes to California.

Examples:
1. On page 1 , she tells Isabel that she'll be rich again when Abeulita comes. She says that, when Abeulita comes, she'll bring all the money and they will move into a big house and start over again. And that would be what her papa wanted. She said that that home was just temporary until Abeulita came over to California.

2. On page 52, Esperanza saw mama with the boxes from charity (people who donate things/clothes to the poor) and said: "Mama, at a time like this, must we worry about some poor family who needs clothes?" Her mama gave her a look of anger and told Esperanza that the clothes were for them because Tio Lius burned everything that they had to make money for mama to marry him. Esperanza seemed confused with the ugly, ripped clothes that she would have to wear.

3. When Esperanza arrived at the cabin that she would be staying in, she said that they were the size of the horse stalls back at El Rancho de las Rosas. They were living in the same conditions as horses back at her old home.
